Pregnancy, week by week and without missing deadlines
Meceluna tells you which week you are in and what is worth doing: booking appointments, telling work, packing the hospital bag and making your baby list. It gives no medical advice. That is for your doctor or midwife.
It is on the App Store for iPhone, free. Plus is optional.

How it works in Meceluna
- At the start, enter the due date.
- On Home you see the week, the days left and the next steps. Tap one to see what to do and its link.
- In Agenda are the appointments, the hospital bag and the birth plan.

What comes next
The Home screen shows the week, the days left and the next steps: for example, telling work, the 20-week scan or packing the hospital bag. Each step carries its date. With twins or triplets the dates come earlier.
Appointments and questions for the visit
Appointments have an alert and can be moved to the iPhone Calendar. In each one you can note what you want to ask and have it at hand when you walk in.
If you do not know what to ask, the app suggests the most common questions for each trimester and for each type of appointment, such as the ultrasound or the anesthesia consultation.
Hospital bag and shopping
The hospital bag is a checklist you tick off, shared with your partner. The baby shopping list has its own section, where you can save products from any shop.
The starting list changes with the time of year of the birth, with warm clothes in winter and light ones in summer, and if the hospital is private it adds the insurance card and its authorisation.
The last weeks
From week 28 the kick counter appears, and from week 36 the contraction timer. The birth plan is saved as a PDF so you can bring it printed or on your phone.
When the baby is born
With “They're born”, Home switches to feeds, nappies and sleep, and the next steps change to the first days with the baby.
