Is there one app that brings together the baby log, pregnancy and the baby list?
Yes: Meceluna, for iPhone. It brings together the feed, diaper and sleep log shared with your partner, pregnancy and appointments, a baby list and a gift list.
Does Meceluna work as a baby gift list that family can reserve from?
Yes. The baby list is published on a meceluna.com page and family and friends reserve gifts without an account, with their name and email to receive the reservation, with no duplicates. You manage it from the app or from meceluna.com/mi-lista. Expensive items can be gifted by several people with a pot. It is free. It is at Baby registry.
Does Meceluna give medical advice?
No. What it calculates or predicts (the sleep plan, percentiles…) is guidance based on what you log and on public tables such as the WHO's. If in doubt, talk to your pediatrician.
What is Meceluna?
An iPhone app for families who are expecting a baby or have just had one. It logs feeds, diapers and sleep together and keeps at hand what comes next: appointments, the hospital bag and the baby list.
Where do I download it?
It is on the App Store for iPhone, free. Plus is optional.
Does it cost anything?
The essentials are free and will stay free: logging feeds, diapers and sleep, pregnancy, the baby list and sharing with your partner. Meceluna Plus is an optional paid subscription for the whole family that adds alerts and savings. Its price shows in the App Store of your country. It is all in Free and Plus. There are no ads and no sign-up either way.
How do I cancel Plus?
From iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Apple charges it: we neither see nor store your payment details.
Where is what I log stored?
On your iPhone (and in its backup, if you make one). If you turn on iCloud (at the start or in Settings › Your data), everything is also stored, encrypted, in your iCloud account, and if you share with your partner, you both see the same. You hold the data: we have no copy or access.
Can I share it with my partner?
Yes. From “Invite…” on Home or in Settings, with the iPhone share sheet (Messages or WhatsApp) or with its QR code. Changes travel encrypted from one phone to the other, without us being able to read them, and there is no need to sign up. Your partner opens the invitation and sees the same, even if they use Android.
Is there an Android version?
It is in testing. Meceluna is an iPhone app and, for some features, Apple Watch. The Android one already shares the family with an iPhone, encrypted from one phone to the other.
How do I delete everything?
In Settings, “Delete all data”, or by deleting the app.
